Privacy Notice

What we know about you when you use About Dentist, and what we do with it. This version: October 17, 2026.

What do you collect?

When you fill in a form, we receive the details you enter (such as your name, email and message). We read it, reply and keep it on file in case you write again.

Your posts and ratings are kept and can appear on the site. Duplicate votes are blocked with a scrambled code rather than your IP address.

Each visit leaves a line in the server’s access log (IP address, browser, page), which our host keeps for security.

Usage counts (a calculator was used, a link was clicked) are stored without anything that identifies you.

Do my calculator numbers get sent to you?

Calculators run on your own device; what you enter in them stays there.

Calculators and forms may save your last entries in your browser’s local storage so you don’t have to start over. It never reaches us.

Do you use cookies?

Reading the site does not need cookies from us, and we don’t ask you to create an account.

Analytics or advertising services, if switched on, may use cookies to count visits and choose ads. Your browser settings control them.

Affiliate links on the site can lead to retailers that pay us a small commission. Their cookies and policies apply once you are on their site.

Do you sell or share my data?

No one buys personal data from us. Outside of our hosting and email providers, we keep your details to ourselves, except where the law says otherwise.

How do I get my data deleted?

Questions, corrections or deletion requests: privacy@aboutdentist.com.

Anything else?

The site is not aimed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
